SF | Lemon-straw, large bubbles. A nose of petrichor, tobacco, and kumquat. Oak intervention has been impressively handled, adding structural resonance and a spicy sub-plot. Deftly handed, the constituent elements well-integrated and a clear vista of development in our sights. 92
EA | Deep lemon-yellow color. The fruitiness is of the sweet, appley kind, strongly lined by leesy and hay tones. The vegetal austerity comes across more strongly on the palate, which finishes chalky-textured and drying. There is power and presence to the wine, but the whole could do with more deliciousness. 2023–33. 89
TH | Juicy, sweet-natured stone fruits here, rich with brioche and ripe with pear juice. Some spicy evolution and considerable heat in evidence—this is showing some of the angularity and heat of the year. 83
