AJ | Dark, deep black-red. Fresh and engaging, with a subtle spice grain to the fruits here. Compelling, vibrant aromatic interest. Impressive concentration and flavour-strike, and with tannins underlying the flutter of fruit. MS | A sweetly ripe-fruited, glass filling nose, beautiful, fragrant, impressive for a Second wine at this age; fullish, freshly defined, finely tannic, a fine harmonious balance; rich in ripe fruit, yet restrained too, long, succulent, juicy, graceful, a lovely flavour profile, moderately complex, and with excellent length to finish. A remarkably classy Second wine. Full of fruit, beautifully textured, a mass of velvety long term promise. And likely very good value. Drink Dates: 2029 - 2040+. 91
