AJ | Dark, brooding black-red. Not hugely forthcoming, but what is there is spot-on: dark, almost savoury fruits with plenty of billow and thrust. Excellent on the palate: real depth and drive here, in a year where many settled for the 'mere' concentration which was the legacy of the vintage's acidity. Sturdy, grippy, dense, structured and long: a fine non-classed-growth Pauillac.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2035. 92
MS | Crisply ripe fruit, marked minerality; full, fresh, finely tannic; a full, round, plump Pibran, with amply satisfying, mineral marked, blackberry fruit, a gentle warmth, a nice length of flavour and finish, quite refined in texture, as gravelly to taste as it is to smell, overall very satisfying. Excellent Pibran. Drink Dates: 2028 - 2040+. 91
