AJ | Dark, dense black-red. Generous, ample and full though with less refinement than the best of its peers. Very satisfying and richly fruited nonetheless: doubtless a glorious classic when they come to run a vertical of Le Boscq. Ditto on the palate: concentrated and arresting in its innate force, though the handling and contour are certainly less subtle than for the best of its peers. Mouth-smackingly good for all that.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2030. 89
MS | Dense, mineral-backed ripe Cabernet fruit, which should make a fine bouquet in due course; medium full, a nice concentration of flavour, freshly defining acidity, finely grippy tannin; a most attractive combination of fullness and restraint, plenty of matter, a particularly tasty ripeness of fruit, gravelly claret aromas and very good length. An excellent Le Boscq. Drink Dates: 2024 - 2035+. 91
