AJ | Dark and dense in colour, opaque at the core. Some earthy refinement apparent here, over a fine-woven substrate of fruit. More gravelly than many of its peers. Bright and dripping fruits on the palate, mouthfilling and energetic. Terrific singing ripeness and beautiful perfumed fruit tannins, too. An excellent La Louviere, truly happy in this vintage.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2034. 92
MS | Dense, black-fruit ripe, quite tight and closed at the moment, but a subtlety there as it sits in the glass; fullish, fresh in acidity, finely tannic; a fairly firm expression of the vintage, of the year and of the origin; crisply ripe in fruit, chewily firm in tannin, moderately complex, a touch hard work at the moment. Certainly needing time.Drink Dates: 2027 - 2040+. 87
