An uncomplicated nose, dried fruit, hints of spice and almond; just a little honey; perfectly approachable, its sugar nicely integrated, but very much in a minor key and lacking the acidic underpin which would have allowed a full intricate expression of this exceptional terroir. 88
AJ | Bright, mid-gold. Honeyed pastries; baklava. Cream too ... all the rich things, though whispered rather than shouted. A little linden leaf fragrance provides freshening. Quiet but very attractive. Ditto on the palate, stylistically speaking.
