AJ | Dark black red though less saturated than its peers. Brightly curranty aromas with a coffee-bean warmth. Exciting intensity and exuberance, and you can't argue with the concentration, but it doesn't quite have the freshness and completeness of its stablemate La Louviere in this vintage. It's a little tangier, finally.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2030. 89
MS | You sense the alcohol presence alongside the ripe blackberry Merlot to smell, slightly fiery, with fruit and terroir currently in the background; very full, its tannins ‘hardened’ by the alcohol level, but it is ripe fruited, warm, modest in scope and length, and likely slightly hard work at table I would think. You could drink already, and it will mellow with time, but the slightly spirity aspect is likely always to be there. Drink Dates: 2024 - 2035+. 87
