SF | Gentle color; walnut and a hazel; a pleasing clarity, almost crepuscular at the rim. A nose of almond, lemon pith, wild strawberry, and just a hint of toffee; nicely balanced, for sure; the lift on the palate takes one by surprise for a moment, and then settles into a gilded hinterland of mellow expectation. 92
AJ | Mid-tobacco-red, with amber glints. Soft and felted aromas of strawberry, raspberry, forest leaves, and moist vanilla: discreet but pure and attractive. Concentrated on the palate and a little drier than some; lots of flavor resource here, with oxidative complexities, raisin and plum, tobacco and nuts. Very good Colheita, with real mouth-presence but ample, refined charm, too. 2024–28. 93
RM | Lovely mid-deep tawny hues; soft, round, and mellow, with an interesting hint of slightly roasted rancio complexity on the nose; soft, suave, savory-leathery flavors, beautifully smooth, silky, and seductive on the mid-palate, with a lovely, spicy piquancy rising toward the finish, which has great persistence and finesse. 93
