AJ | Clear, deep black-red with garnet glints. Earth and stone scents; a whiff of arabica coffee, too. Woodland and fruits notes are there as well, though less prominent and clearly defined than for some of its peers. The palate delivers much of what the aromas sketched out, right down to that coffee note; lively, full and characterful.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2034. 90
BB | Garnet to pink. Open, tobacco, red oranges, floral, some wood, rose water, fresh and dried herbs nose. Medium to full body, sweet red and black fruit, refined tannins and long, herbal, weightless finish.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2035. 93
MP | The nose is very powerful indeed - almost a caricature with blackberry jam, cassis, autumn spice, Bovril and liquorice. It lacks subtlety and is very alcoholic and extracted. If you want a full-throttle Barolo then you'll adore this but it isn't reflective of the vintage with very ripe fruit a cooked quality.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2028. 92
