The nose recalls cassis leaf, mothballs and Everton mints; a heady brew, with allusive by-lines and a firm, slightly austere acidity to challenge the tertiary nature of the fruit; earthy , savoury and a little opaque. Somewaht lacking in purity of definition or clarity of intent.. 87

AR | Mid-ruby, ripe, sweet and minty aromatics, this is nicely juicy in texture and supple with an initial berry fruit sweetness that turns quite rapidly to savoury thank to s marked whack of refreshing acidity that underlies the entire enterprise; the result being a very drinkable, bright red even if it would have been nice to see just a little more mid-palate weight and richness.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2027. 91
