BB | Deep ruby to pink. Touch closed, clean, youthful, red and black cherries, smoke, forest floor nose. Full body, compact black fruits, super fine tannins, long, sweet fruit finish. Needs time to bring out the complexity. Gret effortDrink Dates: 2030 - 2040. 95
AJ | Deep, dark though translucent black-red. Warm, ripe, chocolatey, a touch raisiny: forthcoming, but positioning itself at the sweeter end of the vintage spectrum. Yup, that's it: all-out, slightly rough-edged generosity here. Much to enjoy but some way adrift of the Brunello Premier League in terms of elegance, finesse and complexity.Drink Dates: 2026 - 2033. 88
MP | This wine has a stalky nose showing immature fruit and a tobacco edge on the nose. Little changes upon tasting with obvious oak and no obvious fruit. The tannins carry the day.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2026. 88
