AJ | Deep, dark black-red, just off opacity. Lively, enticing and deeply fruity: lots of plum, damson and sloe here, with some complexing spice. The ripeness seems impressive. Deeply fruited and accessibly textured, with fruit-saturated acidity and some pepper spice, this is a generous and open-pored wine from this fine site with a huge amount to enjoy in the medium term. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2034. 88
SF | Regally enrobed, almost translucent, lustrous for sure, its nose equally appealing with dark fruit, cardamon, ceps and cigar box, all evidenced, and all carried gracefully to the palate, the weave of which underwrites quality with finely-grained tannins, a poised fruit character and an engaging lift on the finish, Drink Dates: 2029 - 2043. 93
