AJ | Dark black-red with a scarlet meniscus; just moving off opacity now. Cool-fruited though classy, pure, with sweet tones that have little to do with oak. Urbane, unobtrusive but attractive. Absolutely as the nose suggested: seamless and urbane, packed with quiet class. It's a little fresher and brisker than some, but this works well here. A lovely buy at the right price for those looking for an 'essence of red Bordeaux' experience from 2021 Drink Dates: 2027 - 2036. 90
SF | A hint of pink at the rim, thereafter saturated youthful purple. Aromatics of summer pudding, cherries and plum are revisited on the palate, which is of medium concentration but deftly focused to highlight a purity of fruit and a keen embrace of well-judged finely-grained tannin. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2032. 89
