BUY THE WINE

AJ | Dark black-red and almost opaque at the core; coloured to the rim's edge. Sweet, svelte, with some warm cereal-grain notes as well as dry leaves and warm earth. A semi-mature nose already, but no cool trembling here. Gratifying and super-fruity, and the fruits have a purity and ripe tenderness that underscores the work the SHL team must have put in. An excellent second wine in this vintage. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2035. 89
SF | Rich ruby, just a little smudged at the rim. An aromatic of woodsmoke, herbs and the hearth-side; little by way of a fruit profile. The palate is lean, linear and drying a little by its peroration. Deftly crafted, and modestly framed. A perfectly competent second wine, especially given its environmental credentials. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2033. 89
