Ruffino: Crafting excellence through innovation

By Sponsored Content

Ruffino has introduced Garzaia, a new Bolgheri Superiore entirely produced from estate-owned vineyards and crafted by winemaker Olga Fusari, Senior Winemaker of the historic Tuscan winery, who brings deep expertise in the Bolgheri denomination.

The project was born in 2023, when Ruffino announced the acquisition of vineyards in the renowned Bolgheri appellation with the aim of creating a new wine capable of interpreting the territory through an authentic and distinctive vision.

Garzaia Bolgheri Superiore DOC came onto the market on March 1, 2026, positioning itself among Ruffino’s fine wines and completing the company’s portfolio of great Tuscan red wines alongside the iconic Riserva Ducale Oro Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, Greppone Mazzi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, and the IGT wines Modus Primo and Alauda. This further strengthens Ruffino’s presence in Tuscany’s most renowned wine-growing areas, a journey begun nearly 150 years ago, guided by a commitment to Tuscan excellence.
