Casa Mono & Bar Jamón

By Alex Hunt MW

Casa Mono and Bar Jamón has celebrated its 15th anniversary, each year trying to curate their wine list differently, while feeding the core passion of offering Spain’s most classic and important producers.

Indeed, World’s Best Wine Lists judge Luciana Girotto praised its Spanish credentials and sherry in particular.

Their mission for 2019 seems to be to grow their collection of verticals from classic producers such as Vega Sicilia, La Rioja Alta and López de Heredia.

They have also taken the time to purchase rare and old wines from private cellars in Bilbao, Spain and other small importers and it shows.
