The name Hakkasan evokes a global reputation that precedes it. A luxurious venue for foodies and wine enthusiasts, Hakkasan’s Dubai destination is located in the exemplary Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel and has joined its many international associates to feature in the World’s Best Wine Lists for the first time in 2017 and again in 2018.
Judges commented that the wine list, has been very well chosen and the result is a well-curated list. Head sommelier Immacolata Canovo is based in Dubai, however, she also oversees the other two Hakkasan venues in the Middle East – Abu Dhabi and Doha – along with the group head of wine for Hakkasan, Christine Parkinson.
The Asian fusion menu includes special dishes only offered at the Dubai location, such as the foie gras crispy duck wrap, golden egg yolk Alaskan king crab, and an orange-hinted polenta cake, to name a few, all available with wine pairings. The team, in alignment with the Hakkasan ‘method’, continues to taste every wine on the menu each week to ensure that they match dish served. It is clear that Hakkasan applies meticulous attention to its culinary and wine offering, in line with the worldwide standard of the group.
Dark furniture accents, an exotic dining terrace, and signature Hakkasan oak latticing ensure Hakkasan Dubai’s interior design is as stylish as its fine dining menu.
