In a spirit that parallels the menu, the wine program at restaurant Daniel is proud to offer selections covering a broad spectrum: from both the old and new worlds; made in classic and modern styles; some that are rare and many others of great value for their price. Indeed, World’s Best Wine Lists judge, Luciana Girottos, called it “fine and classic with some good twists”
The restaurant is especially proud of the list’s depth in relation to Daniel Boulud’s native regions, Burgundy and the Rhône, in addition to choice vintages from Bordeaux’s leading estates. Wines and estates to highlight include the offerings from Chateau’s Mouton-Rothschild and Latour in Pauillac, Jean-Louis Chave in Hermitage, Simon Bize in Savigny-les-Beaune, The Domaine de la Romanée Conti in Vosne-Romanée and both Vincent Dauvissat and the brothers Raveneau in Chablis.
