The NoMad in New York City, established in 2012 just north of Madison Square Park, is the original location of the renowned hotel and restaurant that now also has locations in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
The NoMad’s casually elegant food and beverage program is a collaboration between the legendary team, chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara.
Inspired by Chef Daniel’s time spent throughout Switzerland, California, and New York City, the restaurant is rooted in the same traditions found at their other venture, the critically acclaimed, three Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park.
The restaurant is comprised of a series of rooms surrounding a glass-enclosed atrium.
The menu is refined yet approachable, complemented by a wine program that celebrates the great wine-growing regions of the world and innovative, classically-focused cocktails.
The wine list at The NoMad offers a great variety and flexibility of offerings from around the wine-producing world, with over 50 wines by-the-glass, and nearly 2,000 selections on the bottle list.
There is a specific focus on well-established Old World regions such as Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Northern Rhône Valley, Champagne, Germany & Austria, and Piedmont, as well as on lesser-known areas of the New World such as New York’s very-own Finger Lakes region, from where the restaurant has built one of the largest collections of Finger Lakes Riesling in the world.
Both the white and red categories begin with a ‘NoMadic’ section that combines a selection of lesser-known regions, varietals, and winemaking styles with which to intrigue guests.
