Essi Avellan | Medium-deep lemon color. Varnishy, pungent nose. Sweet marmalade fruit underneath. Highly sweet palate, too, lacking dimensions and finesse. Intensity and freshness are still there, though. | 86
Alex Hunt | Bright-gold color and a bright, malty-bready nose—very attractive. In the mouth, the acid is a little green and hard, but otherwise there is lots to enjoy: good mousse, good depth of flavor. Slightly sour finish, though. | 86
Tom Stevenson | Really quite pale in color, fresh in aroma and undeveloped on the palate, yet with a soft, smooth, and well-integrated mousse that suggests some extra time in bottle, thus probably a young-to-medium-term rather than particularly mature historic disgorgement. Clean, with a classically lean structure and really nice acids. I would not mind having this in my cellar to drink now and over the next five years or so. | 90
