Jamie Goode | This is complex, savory, and quite structured, with firm, grippy tannins under sweet blackcurrant and blackberry fruit. It’s a concentrated wine with a sort of grown-up feel to it; the fruit is certainly ripe, but not overly so. Needs a little more time, but drinking well now. Don’t leave it too long, though: I suspect it may become a little dry with time. | 93
Andrew Jefford | Deep, saturated red-black. Very charming aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and damson without exaggerated oak sweetening; there is some floral lift, too. An enticing nose as first poured, though it fades a little in the glass. Rich, pure, deep, and full on the palate, with singing blackcurrant and plum fruits and firm supporting tannins. Poise and freshness are much in evidence, and there is no rawness or excessive aggression here. Satisfying, deep, and long, with an exuberant drinking style. | 92
David Williams | Very smart, stylish Cabernet, beautifully concentrated but fluent and bright, a wide-view wine with depth of bright fruit and complex, tightly-knit tannins with a long future ahead of it. | 92
