BUY THE WINE

Jamie Goode | Sweet blackcurrant fruit and cherry nose, with a hint of licorice and herbs. The palate is fresh, with good concentration and some grippy tannins, as well as compact, sweet berry fruits. A ripe, quite seductive wine, but showing good complexity and structure, too. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Deep black-red. Not opaque, but not far off... Citrus and oak scents; rather hard to get beyond these. Lots of searching acidic fruit, with sweetening and some powdery tannins from oak: concentrated and forceful wine. Some would enjoy its girth and energy, but I cannot warm to this rather brutalist style. | 87

David Williams | Dense sweetly welcoming kirsch and cassis, really rich and ripe and intense with plenty of substance; complex tannins; that sweet fruit beautifully pure and bright and long. Hefty but not clumsy. | 89
