Michael Schuster | Inky; sweetly ripe black fruit, almost heady to smell; very full, very round, very brisk in acidity, and firmly but finely tannic as well; sweetly ripe, ample, juicy, mouthcoating, powerful but not, at the moment, excessive, with moderate complexity, and very good, crisp red-fruit persistence. Not exactly "refreshing" despite the acidity, simply because of its power. Tasty and sapid, but a powerful balance all the same. 2025–38+. | 89–90
