BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Discreet—mineral and subtle Sauvignon, and very persistent; freshly defined, concentrated wine, a lovely balance at its weight; rich, generous, pineapple-ripe, but fresh and gravelly, too, remarkably aromatic given the hot summer (the clay buffering effect?), long and complex to taste, with fine fruit and aroma length. Impressive. Probably best while young... but who knows? 2022–28? | 92–93
