Michael Schuster | A little wood-dried to smell alongside the hint of garrigue herbs; rich, lively, tannic, a bit wood-dried on the nose, too, so making the wine more difficult to read; that said, this is juicy, vivid, black- and red-fruit ripe, long, succulent, and fine, with a lovely fleshy richness and fine length; definition, energy, persistence, and a lovely racy quality.
