Michael Schuster | Orange; dense, slighty roasted, slightly dried-fruit raisiny; rich, moderately vigorous, concentrated wine; intensely sweet, unctuously textured, botrytis-spicy and complex; plenty of sap there, but not the vineyard’s aristocratic aérien character, overall quite solid for the cru, just lacking a bit of scope, of class, of race. Good... But? After some really fine performances, this seems a bit disappointing for the terroir. | 90–92
