Simon Field | Classic aromas of honeysuckle, nectarine, and white pepper; generous and immediately seductive; an Anita Ekberg cascade of voluptuous fruit, a dense mouthfeel with glycerol and waxy grip; an almost tannic energy, but no lack of concentration and an eloquent peroration that underscores the virtues of measured excess. | 95
Andrew Jefford | Clear and a slightly deeper gold than most of its peers. Very enticing, lushly creamy aromas; a touch of fresh ginger; and discreet but teasing summer fruits behind. A super-aromatic profile that tugs you into the glass. In the mouth, this is a large-boned and generous wine of juicy, balanced style, with plenty of floral charm. | 89
John Livingstone-Learmonth | Appealing yellow robe. There’s good depth in the bouquet, pear, plum fruits, whiffs of smoke, pear skin, apricot, very authentic it is. The palate strides out well with a good stream of slightly spiced white fruits, a buzzy length, and crisp notes as it closes. It captures 2016 well, with verve and freshness. It’s drinking right on the button now. 2020. | 90
