Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear green-gold in color. Amply sweet, bready, doughy, green-malt aromas; neither floral nor spicy, but full of charm for all that. Grand, sturdy summer fruits. Vivid, lively, and a little fresher and more acid-balanced than I expected (though the acidity is always very soft and round here). If you’re looking for a lively, lifted, fresh Condrieu without excessive weight but with plenty of aromatic appeal nonetheless, this fits the bill. | 90
John Livingstone-Learmonth | Yellow robe with a sheen to it. Toasted, orange-flecked bouquet, with purity at its center, a good start. The palate is trim, bears a neat white-fruited flavor, a nudge of vanilla, the length sound. It drinks as well as it can now, with a soft elegance that would permit a high-quality apéritif. It’s slightly new wave in style, appealing to the metropolitan more than the countryside drinker, nouvelle cuisine rather than vieille France dishes. 2020. | 88
