Neil Beckett | A highly successful blend of two very different, distant, but complementary village lieux-dits: Damaudes for complexity and Maizières for structure. Pale ruby. Aérien on the nose, with elegant ripe red fruit. Lovely ripeness on the palate, too, with brilliantly matched freshness of fruit and succulence of fine tannin, and excellent length for the level. Even from Burgundy's grandest village, this is seductive, hors classe Vosne-Romanée. | 92
