Michael Schuster | Deepish purple; dense and already with considerable presence in the glass, crisply ripe black fruit, complex, spicy, impressive! Medium-full, but with a lovely fruit presence, fresh in acidity, very fine-textured in tannin, freshly sweet, distinctly racy, a wine of aromatic intensity rather than fruit strength, very long, with a seductive juiciness, a subtly mouthcoating character, and great length of both fruit and scent. Gorgeous premier cru Nuits- St-Georges, with noticeably more structure, matter, richness than the fine Lavières; a particularly impressive Aux Cras this year. 2025–38+. | 93–94
