Michael Schuster | Mid-purple, paler than the Aux Cras; new-wood tinged, sweetly ripe, refined red- verging-on-black fruit; a beautifully balanced, rich middleweight, finely firm in tannin, gently fresh in acidity; an ample fruit, both sweet and vital at once, long, penetrating, mouthcoating, with a fine length of flavor, a marked fragrance, and a beautifully long, fruit-packed aftertaste. A wonderful Clos des Grandes Vignes, with a greater richness and depth of fruit than the Aux Cras. 2025–40+. | 94–95
