Neil Beckett | Another wine comfortably playing well outside its league, from hand-harvested fruit in Aloxe- Corton and Pommard. Intense, luminious mid-ruby. A very attractive nose, perfectly freshly ripe, very discreet, fine, and subtle for the level, with real Pinot fragrance. Appetizing, lightly silky, remarkable poise and succulence, nothing generic, rude, rustic, or stretched about this. Always a test for any producer and winemaker, but one that the Château and Emmanuel pass with flying colors. | 87
