Simon Field | Unusual, somewhat bizarre almost syrupy aromas: compote and something almost balsamic. The toffee profile continues apace, compromising yet undaunted, ultimately maybe a little simple. | 86
Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red. Sweet, grainy, warm scents in which subdued fruit is overlain by something more secondary: leather tack and undergrowth. Chewy, dense, and grown-up on the palate, with ample ripeness, modest acidity, ample tannic structure, and plenty of length and drive. It’s serious stuff and would drink well at table, but the subdued nature of the fruit at this point in its evolution just gives me a little pause. 2018–23. | 89
Jancis Robinson | Dark crimson with some evolution. Tea leaves and subtlety on the nose. Sweet start and very slightly verging on jamminess. Then on the finish there is some charred character and a bit of heat. The tannins are there and not overdone, but a tad more acidity would not have gone amiss. 2018–23. | 88
