Michael Edwards: A bit disjointed, and slightly raw on the finish, but it may improve with age. | 88

Simon Field: A late sunset of gentle pink, confirmed by a red-fruit aromatic, plum skin and a nutty backdrop. The palate, in this company, is fairly conventional, seemingly youthful, raw, and a touch threatening, phenolic at the back, very sure of itself. Let’s see... I am optimistic. | 90

Anne Krebiechl: Pale gold color. Soft notes of patisserie, not overtly buttery but suggesting richness, play on the subtle nose. There is also a lifted edge of lemon balm. The palate then forms a creamy, rich base, hinting at shortcrust pastry and subtle but contained richness, while remaining fresh-faced, brisk, bright, lively, and refreshing, yet there is this richer undertow of bread, patisserie, and chalk. Wonderful balance of old and new, freshness and evolution. | 94
