Andrew Jefford | Saturated dark black-red. Sweet, pure, and refined aromas, though discreet; the details need teasing out. A pretty wine for St-Estephe, but the yields must be very different here to some of their neighbors and peers, since the concentration and density are well down. The quality of the soil and site brings a certain complexity. 2018–23. | 87
Michael Schuster | fine, fragrant, red-fruit Cabernet nose; medium-full, fresh to lively in acidity, firmly (oakily!) tannic; crisply ripe in fruit, but a dry oak-tannin texture dominates the flavor and the finish; overwooded for the available fruit and class, at least for my palate. Will need a great deal of time to mellow—if indeed it ever will. 2026–33+. | 87?
