BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford | Very dark black-red. Warm and satisfactorily ripe, with lots of curranty classicism and zesty charm. Not quite exuberant, but lively for the year. The palate is fresh and lively, too, with perfectly poised ripeness and not a whiff or a glimpse of green anywhere. Delicious, moderately concentrated, young wine for drinking young. 2018–22. | 88

Michael Schuster | Lively red-fruit nose; nicely balanced medium-full wine, fresh to crisp, finely tannic; brisk, gently juicy flavor, with a nice fruit core, a moderate complexity, and good length. Satisfying lesser claret, gently chewy, crisply ripe in fruit, a good food-accompanying beverage wine! Now to 2028. | 88
