Andrew Jefford | Saturated deep black-red in color. Bottle 1: Slightly corked. Bottle 2: Creamy, savory, appetizing scents whose fruits have a knife-and- fork richness. What it lacks in aromatic precision, it makes up for in sheer visceral appeal. On the palate, the wine is frank and straightforward, delivering full ripeness for its blackcurrant fruits in four-square style.
