Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red in color. Strangely mentholated fruits, though not unattractive; sweet and fresh. A rather tart, bitter-edged style on the palate, though the fruit has concentration, freshness, and impact. 2018–22. | 83
Michael Schuster | Fairly closed and tight on the nose; firmly tannic, fresh middleweight, still rather marked by its wood tannins; red-fruit flavor, of moderate complexity and a light, fragrant length, but the tannin texture a bit dominant now. A bit too much “structure” for the fruit? Not sure whether it will ever really harmonize. 2024–35+. | 87
