Michael Schuster | Relatively closed to smell, but still quite minerally; full, fresh, finely but firmly tannic to taste; ripe in flavor, but tinged with austerity as well, with a long, gentle complexity across the palate, if not the aromatic abundance and utterly seductive charm of its more special performances (You sense a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon “sinew”) and with fine light length. Firm in tannin and will certainly need time. 2030–45+ | 94
