Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Soupy, sweet, and savory aromas, but an agreeable mix and nothing notably green here, though the fruit has a forceful, slightly lurid edge that it might not have in a richer and easier vintage. That’s the style of the palate, too: generous in contour for the vintage, smooth- textured, fresh, but a little high-colored and puce in character at the same time. 2018–23. | 86
Michael Schuster | Ripe fruit and light mineral nose—promising; very nicely balanced, lighter Pessac-Léognan, fresh, supple, moderately concentrated; freshly cassis-ripe to taste, easy and flowing, quite juicy, nice length of flavor and finish, seductive and appealing at a mid-rank level. What’s-not-to-like value! Now to 2028+. | 90
