Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Lots of fruit here: dense, dark, plummy, and sweet-leaved. An exciting, alluring scent. On the palate, this is a vivid, lively, exuberant mouthful with a little less density and potential than the aromas suggested: enjoy its energy and vivacity as soon as you can. There are some backing tannins that will keep it fresh and in good shape for half a decade. 2018–21. | 87
Michael Schuster | Freshly ripe fruit to smell; medium-full, fresh to lively in acidity, firmly dry in tannin; overall austere, but that said this is also quite tasty, there is both matter and a bit of class here, within the year’s Right Bank red-fruit austerity. Fairly hard work as a glass of wine, nonetheless. 2020–28. | 86
