Andrew Jefford | Dark, saturated black red. Dark, smoky, rich aromas; earthy, too. There is plenty of dense plum fruit behind as well, though. Lively and attacking flavors on the palate, with both high acidity and ample tannins; some finishing bitter flavors. Lots of concentration, on the plus side; and this would surely be a rousing St-Emilion with food. 2018–23. | 87
Michael Schuster | Marked red fruit on the nose; fullish in terms of alcohol, but brisk in acidity and tannic in texture; chewy lesser St-Emilion with an excess of tannin for the limited fruit. Will need food with protein aplenty to absorb those tannins. A fairly tough prospect. 2021–30+. | 86
