Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Warm and rich, slightly laboriously so, with some dry woodiness of scent here. Indeed, it is almost stemmy and vegetal. Dry and rather chewy on the palate, with raisiny fruits. It is moderately concentrated and firmly structured, but doesn’t quite sing. For me, Roc de Cambes is a more successful wine than Tertre Roteboeuf in this vintage. 2018–24. | 87
Michael Schuster | Dense and sweet and gently gamey to smell; full, fresh, finely if firmly tannic; deep, warm, long, and sweet to taste, complex, graceful and tenacious; subtle, refined, complete wine, aromatically complex, overall very seductively sweet and sensual and with excellent scented sweet length; that said, this does need time—at least a decade to start to enjoy its splendid potential: 2030–40+. | 93
