Andrew Jefford | Deep black-red. Ripe and settled aromas in which the fresh fruits are no longer discernible, but there’s nothing unripe, impure or disconcerting; it’s an attractive if simple, slightly grainy aroma. Curranty and fresh on the palate, with good depth of fruit and some firm tannins. There is more concentration, in fact, than the nose suggested, though this wine is a little less ripe and giving than some. A good effort, though. 2018–22. | 88
Michael Schuster | Freshly ripe fruit to smell; elegantly balanced, fullish wine, fresh and finely firm in tannin; sweetly ripe fruit core, long and fine to taste, classy, aromatic, refined classic Pomerol—this is not big, not grand, but it is fine, complete, harmonious, and delicious. Will need a bit of time, but very good middle-rank Pomerol, best with a bit more time. 2024–34+. | 91
