Andrew Jefford | Deep black-red, though there are darker in this cohort. Round-contoured, fresh fruits of modest penetration with a little toasty oak. Relatively light and elegant for the vintage; indeed, there is almost a green echo to the shapely but taut, dryish fruits. Not a Pomerol to turn to if you are looking for classic generosity and richness, but very true to the fresh, lively star of the vintage, and you could not fault its concentration. 2018–23. | 88
Michael Schuster | A lovely, complex, slightly oak-marked nose; full, fairly concentrated, firmly but finely tannic balance; rich, complex, aromatic wine, framed by a firm tannin, long to taste, subtle within the tannic frame, but a wine of considerable complexity and scope and persistence. My personal taste wishes the tannins were just a little less present. Fine wine, though. Ideally 2028–40+. | 93
