Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Fully ripe, fresh, red-fruit scents, though there’s a lack of aromatic purity to it, a sort of messiness of fruit. Fully ripe on the palate, too, this is rather sinewy, with flavors of redcurrant and bitter herbs, little tannin, and prominent acidity. On the upside, it is concentrated and is perfectly drinkable. 2018–20. | 82
Michael Schuster | Lightly earthy, gravelly nose; light, crisp, lightly tannic; pleasant, simple and straightforward claret, fairly red fruit in flavor, and brief to finish. Best drunk young. Now to 2023. | 84
