BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook | The nose is delicate and appley but doesn’t shout botrytis. Lean but velvety, this is rounded and approachable. The acidity is fairly high but doesn’t contribute much punch and energy. Pleasant, with a pallid charm, but also rather anodyne, this is a fairly ordinary second wine with only moderate length. | 86

Andrew Jefford | Pale to mid-gold. Sweet, but some savory bacon fat, too; a touch shy. Light, lemony, and graceful on the palate; ample balanced sweetness, with some orchard freshness in the finish. 2018–23. | 86
