Neil Beckett | Intense medium gold of a dullish luster. A little oak-dry on the nose, though not to the exclusion of light quince notes. A luxuriant, molten texture, very opulent and ripe, adequate acidity and surface tension to hold its shape, balanced and harmonious on its own rich terms, but the oak robs it of a little fluency and it does reveal more of the vintage than do the other Montrachets. | 90
