Michael Schuster: Deepish purple; fine ripe fruit to smell here alongside the new oak vanilla; very well-balanced middleweight, with a generous ripe fruit core, and fine, firm tannin; clear premier cru class, a long, sappy, mineral-backed flavor, almost juicy in the context of the year, and with excellent length. 2013–23+. 16.5/17
