Andrew Jefford | Very youthful in appearance: still purple-red. Lifted, fresh, classical aromas of poised raspberry and currant fruit, with a rich aromatic hinterland, too (herbs and meadow flowers): very impressive in context. I can’t see 2013 as a great vintage, but this is a bright, lively, vigorous wine of modest concentration where the producer has evidently got the most out of his or her raw materials. Charles Metcalfe | Fresh, grassy aromas, followed by light, medium-high acidity, brisk tannins, and slightly grassy fruit. There are hints of earthy depth, but this is overall a lightish wine from a cool year. But it has evolved well and makes for light, appealing drinking now or soon. | 86
